The Captain's Cup is SWM's premier mens competition held on Monday nights. It is aimed toward players wanting to play high-level domestic basketball against the best within our association and surrounding areas.
This league is elevated from our other domestic competitions with key features including fully-timed games, shot clock, and provided scoretable. Full details and requirements can be found in the Competition Info button.
The Captain's Cup has two seasons per year, typically from Feb - Jun then Aug - Dec. Anyone can nominate a team providing the intended roster meets certain requirements to ensure desired standards are upheld.

PLAYER REGISTRATION
All players must be registered online via Basketball Connect, prior to taking the court, for each team & competition they participate in. Your team organiser/manager will need to send you an invitation link to register with the team.

BQ Registration (valid 365 days) - $83.92

BA Registration (valid 365 days) - $5.50

SWM Registration (payable for each competition & season) - $48.00
The SWM fee is payable for each competition & season you register to play in.
BQ and BA registrations are valid for 365-days and cover all competitions a player registers for in that period. If either expires during the season of a competition you are registering for then you will be prompted to renew it.
Any team fielding an unregistered player will be forfeited, while repeated infringements may incur removal of the team from the competition.
TEAM FEES
There is a weekly game fee of $120.00 per team, payable to the venue supervisor before each game. This fee covers all court hire, referees and scoretable personnel.
A team nomination fee of $150.00 is payable prior to each season.
This fee includes Glory League service for all team members for every game!
A team cannot take the court until game fee payment is made. Point penalties apply if payment is not made prior to scheduled start time, including forfeit if not paid by end of 1st quarter.
FORFEITS
Forfeits with at least 48hrs notice incur a $120.00 forfeit fee which is payable at the following game.
Forfeits with less than 48hrs notice will incur a $120.00 forfeit fee and a -3pt ladder deduction.
