Senior Basketball

Pirates host senior competitions all year round on Tuesdays (Women), Wednesdays & Sundays (Men). Each competition night consists of multiple divisions to cater for teams of all experience levels.

 

All fixtures are held at Hibiscus Sports Complex - 90 Klumpp Road, Upper Mt Gravatt.

Anyone interested in nominating or joining a team can contact the Coordinator listed below for the relevant competition.

PLAYER REGISTRATION

All players must be registered online via Basketball Connect, prior to taking the court, for each team & competition they participate in. Your team organiser/manager will need to send you an invitation link to register with the team.

  • BQ Registration (valid 365 days) - $83.92

  • BA Registration (valid 365 days) - $5.50

  • SWM Registration (payable for each competition & season) - $48.00

The SWM is payable for each competition & season you register to play in.​

BQ and BA registrations are valid for 365-days and cover all competitions a player registers for in that period. If either expires during the season of a competition you are registering for then you will be prompted to renew it.

Any team fielding an unregistered player will be forfeited, while repeated infringements may incur removal of the team from the competition.

TEAM FEES

There is a weekly game fee of $90.00 per team, payable to the venue supervisor before each game.

A team nomination fee of $150.00 is payable prior to each season.

This fee includes Glory League service for all team members throughout the season!

A team cannot take the court until game fee payment is made. Point penalties apply if payment is not made prior to scheduled start time, including forfeit if not paid by end of 1st quarter.

FORFEITS

Forfeits with at least 48hrs notice incur a $120.00 fee which is payable at the following game.

Forfeits with less than 48 hours notice will incur a $120.00 forfeit fee and a -3pt ladder deduction.
