This may be the last time Pirate fans get to see the brother's Bairstow play together. The arrival on Monday of the men's second import, 6'8" power forward Tanner McGrew, the return of Shaun "Stix" Guy from injury, the debut of centre Jason Conrad and the return of big man Stephen Kiir from the USA before tip off in Saturday's clash with the Sunshine Coast Rip will see the Pirates loaded to the gun rails with big bodies for the remainder of the season. Kieran was approached to fill the void until the cavalry arrived and was the only big ship in the harbour last week. A job he did admirably given he was unable to take time out of his business, to commit fully to the team. "KB" was a part of the very first Pirate's QABL team in 2002 as a rangy 17 y.o. kid and developed into the prototype power forward! You will always be welcomed at the "Ship" and thanks for helping out KB!
