Congratulations to Blake Jones on his selection to compete in the 2018 Albert Schweitzer Tournament held in Mannheim, Germany from March 31-April 7 brings the best U18 junior nationals teams from 16 countries to compete for the international title. Past players like Andrew Bogut, Matthew Dellavedova, Patty Mills, Magic Johnson, Tim Duncan are some of the few big names who have participated in this tournament. Blake joins a strong contingent of 4 other Queensland players in a 11-man-squad. Blake is currently training with our Senior Men's program
working alongside QBL Head Coach Mick Downer and SBL Head Coach Michael Lake. With a busy schedule ahead of him with the Albert Schweitzer tournament in Germany, Queensland U18 Camp and then the U18 National Championships in Melbourne end of April, and not forgetting his academic studies as a student athlete at John Paul College, Blake certainly has his hands full.
