The SWMBI Junior Club competitions commence with a three-week Grading period on 20/21 July 2018.
Our second season is from July to December (School Terms 3 & 4), but we break for the September school holidays. Please note: Under 7's and Under 9's have modified rules and do not play Finals.
Mixed Under 7's to Under 15 Boys (Divisions 2 & 3) and Girls (U9 - U13) play on Saturdays, anytime from 8am - 2pm, usually at Runcorn High School, Hill Rd, Runcorn or at the Hibiscus Sports Complex, 90 Klumpp Rd, Mt Gravatt. Under 15 Boys (Division 1 only), 17 & Under Boys & Friday Night Youth League Girls (U15 Girls/17 & Under Girls combined) play on Fridays from 5pm - 10pm at either Runcorn High School or Calamvale Community College, off Hamish St, Calamvale.
SEASON 2 KEY DATES FOR JUNIORS:
Grading – 20/21 July, 27/28 July & 3/4 August Rounds 1 to 7 – 10/11 August to 21/22 September Rounds 8 to 13 – 12/13 October to 16/17 November Semi Finals – 23/24 November Grand Finals – 30 November/1 December (NB. The 17 & Under Boys Gold and Purple divisions finish 2 weeks earlier)
SOUTH WEST METRO REGISTRATION AND GAME FEES:
All registration fees must be paid online, at the time of registration, securely with a credit card. All players MUST be registered to be entered into our database and eligible to play in our South West Metro competitions.
NB: All full South West Metro registration fees include a Basketball Queensland component and insurance.
Full South West Metro Registration Fee (365 Days) for Under 7's & Under 9's - $76-50 Full South West Metro Registration Fee (365 Days) for Under 11's - 17 & Under - $117-50
Full South West Metro Registration Fee (365 Days) for Seniors - $127-50
Each Junior club also charge an amount to cover the cost of trainings & South West Metro game fee costs. Most clubs also charge an annual membership fee.
